Terminology : Like many RPGs, OFF uses a system where one uses up a limited pool of "points" to perform more powerful abilities. In OFF, these are called competence points (CP), and will be referred to as such throughout this blog. There is also a statistic called "Espirit" in OFF, this refers to how effective a competence is (Higher Espirit = more damage and healing from competences). OFF also has a multitude of status effects that one can utilize and defend against. These include: Mute: Disables use of the target's abilities Blind: Greatly reduces the target's accuracy Poison: Continuously damages a target in the following turns Palsy: Applies paralysis on a target, rendering them unable to ...
